We met at Spring Arbor University on the very first day. My (Kori) roommate Kristy and Frankie had a class together and quickly became friends. Frankie won my heart with his persistence and quick wit.

We got married on June 21, 2009. It was a very hot day! Our reception was outside and ended up being the perfect temperature. I later found out that it was storming around us and yet our reception area was sunny and cool. Hindsight is 20/20 and the weather has played a pretty key role in God’s communication

We’ve been through many things in our 10 years of marriage; most of which deserve more than a paragraph so I’ll post about them separately.

Frankie has always felt strongly that the Lord had a bigger, longer purpose for him than thirty something years. He certainly went through moments of doubt and fear, after the AVM was found in his brain. He always came back to, “It is, what it is”. He knew he was in the Lord’s hand and that His will would be done as long as we sought Him first.

I really feel like that man is still inside Frankie. I cling to the hope that the Lord will free him from his brain and restore Him.
